Job Offer: Student Recruitment Coordinator:Job description:Job location: Lanarkshire, Paisley Paisley or Lanarkshire Campus with regular travel to other campus locations broad travel all over the UK Full-time, 35 hours per week The function This exciting function would be ideal for someone who is confident, outgoing, enjoys travel and who thrives under pressure. It sits within the fast-moving Student Recruitment team and is a key function in the University's high-performing Marketing & Student Recruitment Department. The post holder will support the University's strategic plan to recruit high-quality students at undergraduate and postgraduate levels by delivering and promoting a range of activities, together with nurturing close links with secondary schools, FE colleges and other external stakeholders. The post-holder will have specific responsibility for recruiting students from the rest of the UK market (RUK) and will also support the delivery of student recruitment targets in the domestic (Scottish) market. This post will involve significant travel all over the UK all over the year. Our ideal candidate will be comfortable with and have proven and significant practice of preparing and delivering presentations, ideally in a Higher Education or customer-driven sales environment. It is essential that you have excellent interpersonal and communication expertise, both oral and written. You will have demonstrable interpersonal expertise, well-developed customer care expertise, and be capable of working away in the house broadly and for significant periods of time. Our ideal candidate will have a significant degree or equivalent practice, with a current UK driving licence or equivalent. The Student Recruitment team is currently working on a flexible basis due to current COVID-19 restrictions and a mix of on-campus and homeworking work may be required.
