About the function This is an exciting opportunity for you to join our dedicated technical services team in the College of Science and Engineering. As a technician you will ensure the technical resources are deployed and developed to support the co-ordination, preparation and running of specialist classes and fieldwork for students studying the Built and Natural Environment. You will work closely with academic and technical teams and you will be required to support a range of activities including undergraduate projects, fieldwork, teaching, research and outreach activities whilst promoting good practice and ensuring safety compliance. You will provide good opportunities to contribute to the strategic direction and evolving changes within the School of Built and Natural Environment. Please note that unfortunately, this function will not attract sufficient points to obtain a sponsored Skilled Worker visa under the UK Visas & Immigration points-located immigration system; however, applications are welcome from candidates who do not currently have the right to work in the UK, but who would be eligible to obtain a valid visa via another route.
