About You
To be prosperous you will hold appropriate academic qualification in either business management, marketing, or economics and will have skills to analyse market and business performance data, examine business processes, and identify challenges and opportunities. You must also be able to interpret insights from raw data and translating findings into business significant reports and assets.
You will be highly organised with a proven capability to work prosperously within a project team. Strong written and interpersonal skills are vital for being able to work with a wide variety of stakeholders on the project.
About the function
This post offers an exciting opportunity to work on a highly innovative business growth project in the field of data-driven consumer marketing, working collaboratively with a highly respected academic team and a prosperous independent consumer pet food company, including their broad UK-wide franchisee network.
expertise Transfer Partnerships (KTP) is a national scheme which facilitates business-university collaboration projects. KTP projects are high impact and use research informed skills to achieve the significant levels of innovation. The function of the Business Analyst KTP Associate is to facilitate the transfer of expertise from the University to our partner, Oscar Pet Foods Ltd, via the planning and delivery of a key business growth project in the field of data-driven consumer marketing.
The KTP will build significant new capacity in Oscar Pet Foods driving them towards a long-term market leading position in the UK pet food subscription market. It will overhaul their approach to geo-demographic marketing and empower their franchisees with new data-driven decision-making capabilities. For the University, this project will allow for the demonstration of significant economic and societal impact of our research base.
