Main Purpose of Post:
The primary aim of the Student Feedback and Engagement agent will be to support the University in developing and enhancing its student engagement and feedback mechanisms. Particularly, enhancing response rates and encouraging staff to scrutinise results fully and report back to students on enhancements. The post holder will also play a key facilitation function in working with colleagues on the delivery of the student surveys. Intrinsic to these strategies will be the development of a holistic approach to student engagement and to work in partnership with the Students' Union, Colleges, Professional Services and Academies to enable the University to deliver on its commitment to working with students as partners.
Contribution to the development and implementation of policy and strategy
   » Make positive contributions to the delivery, implementation and monitoring of systems to enable effective provision of a high quality student practice through effective student engagement and partnerships and monitoring of robust feedback methods and systems.
   » Maintain and develop procedures and systems that embed a holistic approach to engagement, partnership and feedback.
Networking and Engagement
   » To work in partnership with Professional Services, Colleges, the Students' Union and Student Representatives to support the delivery of staff and student communications in relation to feedback.
   » Engage with internal and external stakeholders to support the maintenance and enhancement of the University's approaches to engagement, feedback and partnership.
   » To work in partnership with Professional Services, Colleges, the Students' Union and Student Representatives to support the strategic delivery of these areas.
   » To share best practice and key developments with Colleges, Academies and Professional Service staff.
   » Contribute to and support the delivery of workshops and training events relating to engagement, partnership and feedback.
Management Information
   » Provide management information reports in association with set targets directly related to student feedback, both module feedback and student practice survey results.
   » Support the development of feedback procedures and systems to best serve the needs of staff and students.
Specific tasks
   » Develop timely, engaging, informative and accurate content for communications in relation to student feedback and partnership.
   » To act as committee secretary and support the strategic aims of the Unitu Working Group and any other connected committees, which serve to deliver on the key strategies related to this remit.
   » To develop, reinforce and manage partnerships with colleges to inform and embed student feedback at college level.
