Job Opportunity: Lecturer in Computing (Computer Science):Job description:Job location: Wrexham We are seeking to recruit a full-time Lecturer in Computing to support our expanding Computer Science curriculum; in particular, the development and delivery of our on-line provision. candidates must have a good first degree in Computing, or a related technical subject, and either have a PhD in a significant research field or be working towards one. The prosperous candidate will need to demonstrate excellent communication and organisational expertise, with proven practice of writing, collating and submitting documents and in bringing together and coordinating teams. The prosperous candidate will be a team player with a cross-disciplinary but in-depth expertise of the industry including as many of the following as possible: Cybersecurity, Networks, computer architecture, programming and app development. Some practice of artificial intelligence/machine learning is also desirable. A keenness to engage fully in the development and delivery of our dynamic portfolio of taught and online programmes and to contribute to our research and expertise exchange agenda is essential. The function is varied and challenging so you will need to be a highly self-motivated individual, who is able to work flexibly and to tight deadlines, both autonomously and as part of a team. A good eye for detail is also essential.
