Offer: Lecturer In Sport (0.36 FTE):Job description:Job location: Liverpool Hugh Baird College is a large, dynamic Further Education College, in Merseyside, with an ambitious strategic plan. It is a friendly, diverse and vibrant place to work where students and the local community are at the heart of everything we do. We have an opportunity within our Sport & Public Services Department for a Lecturer in Sport with the expertise and expertise to teach on our football related programmes from Level 1 to level. You will be required to provide high quality teaching, learning and assessment for all students/clients to support the mission, aims and strategic objectives of the College. Within this function you will be required also toteach on Sport related programmes from 14-16, to Level 3. A first degree in the area of sport, together with a teaching qualification and practice of teaching on programmes in this area up to an including level 3 is essential. You should also have substantial practice of coaching youth football, hold as a minimum a level 2 FA Football Coaching qualification and hold or be working towards, a UEFA B Licence. this function is a part-time, term time only for 8 hours per week however depending on expertise and practice, we have the potential to offer additional hours to candidates interested in supporting learners enrolled on our ?Catch-Up' programme. This entails delivery of catch-up sessions to small groups who require additional tuition/support.
