Offer: Venue Technician (The Tung Auditorium) - Grade 4:Job description:Job location: Liverpool The Tung Auditorium is a state-of-the-art, high specification concert hall which will deliver an outstanding live music performance practice. Situated within the Yoko Ono Lennon Centre with world-class teaching and learning at its heart, The Tung Auditorium will celebrate the University's cultural contribution to the city and seeks to offer an open and inclusive programme, enhancing engagement with the arts locally, regionally and nationally. We are pursuing skilled and practiced Venue Technicians to facilitate the smooth delivery of public concerts and events. this function is ideal for those with practice in live sound, lighting, AV and/or Stage Management who are interested in getting involved with an exciting new venue, delivering an outstanding audience and artist practice across a varied and constantly changing programme. this function is ad hoc and shift located, allocated according to the requirements of concerts and events which will not follow a regular pattern. For this reason, this function is a zero hours contract with shifts allocated by rota one month in advance. Some events will take place during office hours; however, the majority are expected to be during evenings and weekends. We are conscious that there is a lack of diversity within the music industry and in Higher Education, and we therefore particularly encourage applications from individuals who self-identify as members of groups who are often under-represented. A 13% holiday allowance will be paid for each hour worked.
