About the function :
this function is part of the Senior leadership abilities Team within Cambridge Online Education, at Cambridge University Press and Assessment, and is focused on the marketing and recruitment strategy and growth performance for Cambridge Advance Online (and other future programmatic areas).
Over the medium term, Cambridge Online Education will be primarily focused on the marketing and recruitment of online short courses for graduate professionals. By the end of 2024, we aim to have launched around 50 courses and have delivered substantial ROI. The function holder is responsible for defining the marketing and recruitment strategy and prosperous execution of strong and sustainable campaigns that support our accelerated growth and meet our ambitious targets.
The function holder will build out the existing teams in areas which include:
   » Market research
   » Digital and product marketing
   » Marketing communications
   » Marketing operations
   » Recruitment / sales.
You will be joining a dynamic, welcoming, and creative team of professionals located within Cambridge University Press and Assessment and working across the University of Cambridge. You will be part of a recently formed team that is moving from a start-up environment to an established unit but aims to keep the energy and creativity of the former. You will be motivated by helping a new unit grow, thrive and become a commercial success for the university.
