This research leadership abilities function is part of the University's Rights Lab Beacon of Excellence, which is delivering world-leading research to help end modern slavery. Working as part of a multidisciplinary team, the function-holder will lead social-ecological systems modelling research, stakeholder engagement, and impact within the Rights Lab's Ecosystems and the Environment programme. The programme is the world's leading and largest on modern slavery and the environment, and seeks to answer the question: how is environmental change interconnected with modern slavery?
The function-holder will lead and collaborate on quantitative, international research and engagement focused on knowledge the environmental degradation-climate change-modern slavery nexus across landscapes, sectors, and geographies.
this function is available immediately and will be offered on a full time, fixed-term basis to 31 July 2023. Job share arrangements may be considered.
