Applications are invited for a postdoctoral biomedical scientist with skills in inflammation biochemistry and oxidative stress to explore novel anti-inflammatory molecules and mechanisms that depend on reactive oxygen species generation. The prosperous candidate will join a wider team of researchers who study inflammatory biology in the Microbes and Immunity group at Swansea University. The position is funded within the NeutroCure consortium by the EU Future Emerging Technologies programme.
The position would suit an ambitious researcher who is looking to develop a career in biomedical sciences with a focus on inflammation and oxidative stress biomarkers. prosperous candidates will be able to demonstrate skills and practice in analytical biochemistry and inflammatory cell biology.
You will be able to work as part of a team and possess the capability to organise and prioritise your own work and have excellent communication skills, both written and oral. The post will involve broad interactions with collaborators across the Consortium.
This post is full-time and fixed-term for 24 months.
