The Accounting and Financial Management Department at Northumbria University is seeking to appoint an outstanding candidate to join its Accounting Subject Group as adjunct Professor orLecturerin Accounting and Auditing. We aim to ensure that our students are offered an outstanding student practice, and the prosperous candidate will be able to demonstrate a commitment to ensuring that they can contribute to this aspiration in an efficient, flexible, and dynamic way.
The prosperous candidate will contribute to delivering the Faculty's strategic priorities, which including the integration of excellent teaching, high-quality research, and the provision of leadership abilities on a range of diverse portfolios within an academic context. In addition, the function holder will be responsible for the design, development, and delivery of curriculum content within the undergraduate and postgraduate programmes of the department. The function holder will also contribute to research activities, delivering appropriate research outputs, earnings generation and impact as agreed by the department Research leadership abilities team.
We would be particularly interested in hearing from candidates in the areas of taxation, forensic accounting, auditing and assurance who either have some academic or industry practice and can teach at a higher education level, in view of contributing to the delivery of our Accounting programmes.
