Special Collections adjunct (Special Collections Museum):Job description:Job location: Manchester Are you ready for a new function with a great team in an ambitiousuniversity? We're looking for someone to join our Special Collections Museum team. You will make a significant contribution to the deliveryof ourcustomer-focussed reader and enquiry services, assisting with the development, management and care of thecollections, and helping with an active engagement programme which seeks to boost engagement by academicaudiences through teaching, learning and research, and with public audiences through a programme of exhibitions and events. The Special Collections Museum is part of the university library and a major resource for teaching, learning and research at Manchester Met, as well as welcoming general visitors to our exhibitions and Reading Room. You'll be part of a small specialist team of professionals. This is a part time (28 hours/week), permanent function. The working pattern will respond to the core opening hours of the Special Collections Museum which are Mondays- Fridays 10am-4pm all year round and term time only also Saturdays 12noon - 4pm. Saturdays will be staffed on a rota basis and you will receive time off in lieu for this.
