The School of Pharmacy and Biomolecular Sciences is at the forefront of higher education in Pharmacy as well as Pharmaceutical, Biomedical, Forensic, Cosmetic and Chemical Sciences. The School has excellent working relationships with industry, regulatory bodies and the NHS and has recently achieved the Athena Swan bronze award. We are seeking for a highly professional, enthusiastic and committed individual to join our team.
You will have a degree (or equivalent) in chemistry, toxicology, pharmacy, biological sciences or a related discipline and a PhD in the area of computational toxicology, chemoinformatics or a related discipline. The ideal candidate will also have research and teaching practice in the area.
You will be expected to make teaching contributions to the School's upcoming MSc Computational Toxicology (first intake September 2022), as well as contributing to the established Master of Pharmacy, BSc Pharmaceutical and Cosmetic Science, MSc Cosmetic Science courses as well as other undergraduate and postgraduate programmes appropriate to your skills. You will also be expected to actively engage in the development of new undergraduate and post-graduate programmes in relation to your discipline.
You will be encouraged to develop your own research in the area of computational toxicology or chemoinformatics in collaboration with other members of the School.
