About the function
Applications are sought for a Postdoctoral Research adjunct to undertake research investigating CAR T-cell therapy of pancreatic cancer under the supervision of the Principal Investigator (PI). Funded by Pancreatic Cancer UK, this post forms part of the PCUK Grand Challenge Programme. The research will be located in the Centre for Tumour Biology, Barts Cancer Institute, within the Faculty of the School of Medicine and Dentistry, Queen Mary University of London.
About You
Essential requirements for this post include a PhD in a significant biological subject and an undergraduate degree in a biological subject. We are seeking for an practiced post-doctoral research fellow well-versed in multiple cell and molecular biology techniques. The ideal candidate would have previous practical practice in this field. expertise of cancer biology, particularly pancreatic cancer would be highly desirable but is not essential.

The starting income will be Grade 4, in the range of £34,733 - £40,797 per annum (pro-rata), inclusive of London Allowance.
