The University of Cambridge seeks an outstanding individual for a newly created position of Business Manager. This is an exceptional opportunity for a talented individual who is practiced in establishing, developing and maintaining administration systems and procedures to help ensure projects are progressed and delivered.
You will manage a small team and be responsible for providing day-to-day administration activities and processes as well as distinct and dedicated project management support to all non-fundraising areas within the Development and Alumni Relations office. You will join one of the world's leading institutions as part of a dynamic and innovative team, playing a key function in driving forward projects which directly impact the delivery of University of Cambridge's significant fundraising potential.
With practice of working in a fast-paced environment, you will have the capability to deal effectively with people at all levels and be skilled at cultivating strong working relationships of the many stakeholders you will have contact with.
The Development and Alumni Relations office has an outstanding track record of engaging Cambridge's global alumni community and securing philanthropic earnings for the Collegiate University. It has overall responsibility for coordinating University-wide development campaigns, raising funds to support Schools, Faculties, Departments and other central University institutions. We work closely with Cambridge's 31 Colleges and our sister office, Cambridge in America, to maximise alumni engagement and fundraising with our constituencies across the globe.
this function is located in central Cambridge, however the prosperous candidate may need to work remotely in the first instance. This can be discussed at interview.
