Job Offer: Research Associate and Research Adviser in Qualitative Research Methods:Job description:Job location: Leicester About the function This is a new joint post between the Social Science Applied to Healthcare Improvement Research (SAPPHIRE) research group, Department of Health Sciences, University of Leicester, and the NIHR Research Design Service East Midlands (RDS). The researcher will lead a cross-project study of the implementation of interventions to improve care for people with multiple long-term conditions in primary care, funded by the NIHR Applied Research Collaborative (ARC), East Midlands. The researcher will also provide expert advice and support on qualitative methods to research teams all over the East Midlands, assisting them to develop high quality funding applications. About you As the prosperous applicant, you will have a PhD in a significant social or health science discipline or equivalent practice,practice of research project management, and an knowledge and practice of the function of qualitative methods in applied health and social care research. You will have an capability to lead in writing up social science research for publication in high quality journals.
