The Department of Nursing, Midwifery and Health is one of five departments within the Faculty of Health and Life Sciences. We are pursuing expertiseable and skilled individuals to join our prosperous and highly committed team. We are pursuing candidates with a breadth of practice in a variety of areas. The Department provides high quality, research-rich education using a variety of innovative teaching and learning methods delivered at all academic levels from undergraduate to doctoral study. You will work flexibly as part of a team to contribute to teaching, learning and assessment and research to support a high-quality student practice in both pre-registration and post-registration programmes. You will participate in the planning, designing and development of undergraduate and postgraduate programmes, as well as pastoral tutoring. You will provide skills to further enhance research and entrepreneurial activities.This will include undertaking individual and collaborative research that demonstrates impact. Previous practice of teaching and leading is highly desirable and your application should detail your areas of clinical/teaching practice and skills. We are seeking for individuals with a variety of skills which includes midwifery, cancer care, critical care, public health to identify a few areas. For the Professor/Associate Professor functions We are seeking for someone to also fulfil significant leadership abilities responsibilities as part of departmental management. There are several posts available.Part-time and Secondment arrangements may be considered. You must possess excellent expertise of the subject area you are considering applying for and be a registered member of a significant professional body, if applicable. You must hold a Master's degree or be either qualified to Doctoral level or be willing to study for a Doctoral qualification in a significant discipline. You need to have subject skills with specialist expertise gained through research activity, professional practice, or consultancy.
