The function
FBL delivers three degree apprenticeship programmes - Chartered Manager Degree Apprenticeship (CMDA), Senor Leader Degree Apprenticeship (SLA) and Police Conreliable Degree Apprenticeship (PCDA). Each of these apprenticeships are assessed through an independent end point assessment (EPA).
this function of IQA (Internal Quality Assurance) Assessor will be to work with the Student practice Managers and Practice Tutors to support the latest cohort of apprentices working towards EPA gateway following their completion of the degree element of the CMDA apprenticeship.
tasks will include monitoring Practice Tutor assessment practice in order to ensure that assessment decisions meet the requirements of the standards for SLMDA and CMDA.
expertise and practice required:
   » A degree or equivalent qualification in a business subject
   » Sound knowledge and knowledge of apprenticeship standards and end point assessments, including the CMDA and SLMDA standards.
   » A significant Assessor and/or Verifier Qualification and practice as an Assessor of work-located competencies in the workplace. (significant qualifications include: A1, V1, TAQA, CAVA, or D32, D33). A significant assessor qualification is essential, a verifier qualification is desirable.
   » practice of prosperously assessing evidence against apprenticeship standards including higher level apprenticeship programmes in significant subject areas/business.
   » significant practical practice of using online / e-portfolio tools to support students achieve WBL learning goals and assess learners against apprenticeship standards (practice of using OneFile an advantage)
