This post is available for 5 years in the first instance.
We are pursuing to appoint Programme Administrators to work on our Early Career Teacher and school leadership abilities programmes. You will be located within the UCL Centre for Educational leadership abilities (CEL). The main tasks are to provide comprehensive and high-quality administration for our professional development programmes which are accessed by around 6000 teachers each year. The programmes are managed using UCL's learning and student management systems and full training will be provided on both.
Programme Administrators provide a high-quality administrative service to participants, facilitators and delivery partners, working in close collaboration with other programme administrators, specialists, programme leaders and professional colleagues from schools. You will have the opportunity to work on different programmes and with different teams and be expected to adapt quickly to new challenges as the Centre's priorities change.
Most of the Centre's programmes are delivered online using MS Teams, Blackboard or Zoom and you will be responsible for scheduling and management of those events including supporting the academics and programme leaders who deliver those programmes.
You should be pro-active in your work and demonstrate an capability to work effectively in a team.
The functions would suit graduate candidates with two or more years' practice in an education customer facing function who are interested in working in a university environment as they build their career pathways. candidates should enjoy working in an external facing function and have excellent customer relationship expertise. Excellent written and verbal communication expertise are required and candidates should be confident to host online learning events with groups of education professionals in attendance.
