The University of Liverpool is seeking to recruit a counsellor/therapist, for 21 hours per week. located within the Student Administration and Support Division of the Directorate of Student practice and Enhancement, the practitioner will join an practiced multi-disciplinary team supporting the mental health and wellbeing of students.
You will be a team player and have the capability to communicate with and appreciate the lifestyle of students from a variety of cultures and backgrounds. You should have a degree (or equivalent qualification) or significant professional practice, and hold current accreditation and registration with a significant professional body. You will have significant practice of short-term and longer term focussed counselling and group-work in a similar organisational setting.
This post will enable the University to further develop effective support for students and will contribute to the work already being undertaken within Student Services.
