Job Opportunity: Lecturer (Biochemistry/Molecular Biology):Job description:Job location: Lanarkshire Full time, 35 hours per week The School of Health and Life Sciences is one of the largest integrated schools combining health and life science programmes. Our graduates make an immense contribution to improving the health and wellbeing of communities across the globe. This post will be located in our new Lanarkshire Campus within the Division of Biological Sciences and Health supporting the Biological Science undergraduate and postgraduate programmes and contributing to learning, teaching and research across the School of Health and Life Science. Flexibility to travel to other campuses as required is desirable. candidates should have a PhD and significant practice in the subject area of Biochemistry and/or Molecular Biology. As a lecturer you would be supported to develop these subject areas and provide strong and effective teaching across our undergraduate and post graduate Biological Science programmes. candidates should be able to contribute to the enhancement of the student practice by supporting the organisation and delivery of innovative approaches to learning, teaching and assessment. Your research and /or industrial skills should align with our current portfolio of research and enterprise. You will be expected to contribute to the development of one of our core research areas (IBEHR) with the aim of developing your own independent research. You should have practice of working in a research or industry environment with skills in a range of Biochemical and molecular techniques. An academic track record is desirable.
