Harper Adams University seeks a highly motivated and practiced Business Development Manager to join the expanding Business Development team working with both small and medium enterprises (SMEs) and large industry clients on strategic innovations.
This post is full-time and permanent (37 hours) and is an excellent opportunity to join a leading provider of expertise exchange, education and expertise in the UK at a crucial time to support growth in expertise exchange, research and innovation projects as part of a growing business development team.
The appointee will be involved for part of their week in the delivery and completion of the AGRI ERDF project in collaboration with Aston University https://agriprojects.org/ . AGRI supports SME business with identifying and securing experts to assist with innovation projects across the Agri-Food and Agri-Tech sector. This will involve working with colleagues internally and liaising with colleagues from Aston University to fulfil AGRI project objectives.
Additionally, this function also involves working closely with the Livestock sector on strategic projects that will further develop existing research and strategic alliances at Harper Adams University. The prosperous candidate will also be encouraged to engage with new employers and organisations to meet KPIs in the Harper Adams University strategic plan, both nationally and internationally, developing future opportunities for departments. this function will require presence at face-to-face and online meetings, conferences and events across the Marches region, and the UK.
