Offer: Careers Adviser (Part Time):Job description:Job location: Fife Careers Adviser opportunity has arisen at SRUC's Elmwood campus in Fife, within the North Faculty. The function will involve providing high quality careers information, advice and guidance to students which is tailored to the needs of individual students and grounded in accurate information about the significant job markets significant to Further and Higher Education e.g. certificate, undergraduate, Postgraduate/Masters/PhD level students at SRUC. We are pursuing a candidate with practice of delivering career information, advice and guidance to students within a tertiary education setting. Some practice of working with, and positively impacting on, students with SpLDs, and additional support needs is required, as are strong coaching expertise. To be considered for this function, candidates should possess a degree level qualification in a significant subject and/or a significant professional qualification. This is a part time function of 18.5 hours per week (0.5 FTE), located on a full time working week of 37 hours). Please note, we are currently advertising another 18.5 hours per week (0.5 FTE) Careers Adviser function located at our Craibstone campus in Aberdeen. Consideration would be given to candidates who would like to work full time and cover both campuses.
