Part Time Research agent / Project Manager (40 % FTE):Job description:Job location: Gwynedd Part Time Research agent / Project Manager (40 % FTE) - Evaluation of Dental Contract Reform?in Wales Contract Duration: available until 30/09/2023 Responsible to:Head of School Applications are invited for the above part-time post to work within a team to evaluate the NHS dental contract pilot across Wales. This is an excellent opportunity to evaluate a national policy-significant programme that has national importance. The prosperous candidate will be responsible for the co-ordination and management of the project as part of the Government-funded study: Evaluation of Dental Contract Reform in Wales led by Dr Lorelei Jones. The post holder will be expected to co-ordinate, manage, and supervise the project to ensure its prosperous delivery and completion. As project manager they will work with colleagues from the School of Medical and Health Sciences, Bangor University. Previous practice managing high profile, time-sensitive, government-funded research is essential, as is a significant post-graduate qualification. The prosperous candidate should be able to demonstrate a good knowledge of managing research projects and have previous practice of working closely with national government stakeholders. Excellent communication and presentation expertise, together with the capability to organise and motivate others are key. The post-holder will need to be proficient in the administration of research projects, be self-motivated, adaptable, a proactive problem-solver, and be able to work in a team. Excellent interpersonal expertise are required, as is the capability to work to high standards across a variety of tasks with constant regard to scientific and regulatory requirements. The applicant will demonstrate self-motivation, solution-focused approach when faced with challenges and will provide operational support in the co-ordination and delivery of the study. The prosperous candidate will posssess a postgraduate degree in a significant subject area. The post-holder will be accountable to Dr Lorelei Jones. The prosperous candidate will be expected to commence as soon as possible and the post is available on a part-time basis (40% FTE) until 30th September 2023.
