Job Offer: Course Director in Online & In-Person EAP/ESP Courses:Job description:Job location: Gwynedd Contract Duration:2 Years Responsible to:Head of School The English Language Centre for Overseas Students (ELCOS) is seeking to appoint a full-time Course Director to join our team of course leaders (2 years fixed term in the first instance, potential to extend to permanent). Educated to degree level, the function holder will primarily focus attention on the design and development of online provision, though the function may also encompass in-person course directing depending on prevailing operational and strategic circumstances. To that end, candidates should have evidence of high-quality course design practice and clearly defined plans for the development of online EAP/ESP provision. prosperous candidates will be expected to contribute to teaching at all levels, and to contribute to the development of ELCOS overall. The prosperous candidate will be expected to develop new online EAP/ESP courses at all levels. They must have a flexible attitude to teaching and learning, proven practice of course design and team leadership abilities with an capability to work to deadlines. ELCOS has ambitious plans as we move away from the constraints imposed by Covid-19. As well as aiding in ELCOS' development, the prosperous candidate will contribute proactively to Bangor's ambitions as a sustainable university. They will input to the process of equipping students with the expertise needed to work and live in a way that safeguards environmental, social, economic and cultural well-being.
