Discapability Adviser (full time/part time, job share):Job description:Job location: Newport Job location: Newport, Shropshire A new opportunity has arisen for a Discapability Adviser to join the Learner Support Team at Harper Adams University. The University is committed to supporting students with a wide variety of disabilities and has a high proportion of students in receipt of the Disabled Students' Allowance. The postholder will work closely with other colleagues including Learner Support and Student Services teams, supporting the needs of candidates and students with a wide variety of disabilities. You must be qualified to at least honours degree level (or equivalent) with post graduate discapability qualification(s) and have practice of working with students with a range of disabilities. this function requires exceptional communication and customer service expertise with the capability to act sensitively and in a confidential manner. You will also need to be able to develop highly effective working relationships with staff and students and be prepared to work flexible hours.
