About the function This is an exciting opportunity for a Data Management & User Support agent who has an interest in managing data in a large, complex environment to support the adjunct Registrar: Data Management & User Support in facilitating institutional business processes through effective development, configuration and deployment of the Student Records System (SRS) across activity in all Faculties and significant service areas. In this post, you will gain significant insight into how the maintenance of high quality, accurate data allows the University to function efficiently and to offer high quality services to students and staff alike. You will provide high quality data management and user support to core and non-core users, relating to the Student Records System (SRS), with a specific responsibility for superviseing the management of student records and supporting the management of course and module records relating to postgraduate activity, ensuring that all outputs from the system are fit for purpose to meet both internal and external requirements. About You As Data Management & User Support agent, you will understand how data is used both internally and externally to the University, particularly in relation to interactions with statutory organisations, have practice of using a student records system or other similar large organisational database and be able to think creatively, and problem solve, using expertise of the system and connected processes to continually develop and improve data-related processes. You will be able to work independently, using your initiative to deal with problems with the capability to work with minimal supervision to a high standard, particularly at peak points of activity, such as enrolment and assessment processing. With a strong level of computer literacy, with particular practice using MS Office software such as Excel and Access, you will have the capability to work with large amounts of complex data using a large corporate system with the capability to deliver accurate data, as well as strong problem-solving expertise and capability to apply expertise of the management of data to new requirements, both internal and external. compensates/Benefits You will benefit from 23 days annual leave plus 13 bank holiday and University closure days per annum.
