The Department of Communication & Journalism offers outstanding education and research on communication, marketing communication and journalism. Our journalism courses are accredited by the three main industry bodies, the Broadcast Journalism Training Council (BJTC), the National Council for the Training of Journalists (NCTJ), and the Professional Publishers Association (PPA). Some of our marketing communication courses are accredited by the Chartered Institute of Public Relations (CIPR) and the Chartered Institute of Marketing (CIM). We are seeking for an enthusiastic Demonstrator in Television Journalism to join a highly qualified team of communication and journalism demonstrators. The prosperous applicant will have good expertise of the Adobe Creative Suite, specifically Adobe Premiere Pro and excellent expertise in video production and post production, as well as communication expertise, and a real interest in teaching and learning. The function requires efficient delivery of the demonstration of television journalism expertise to undergraduate and postgraduate students and will support the development of multi-media project work, including the delivery of a documentary option in TV Journalism. candidates should be committed to enhancing TV journalism facilities and delivery of TV studio practices at BU.
