Job Opportunity: Receptionist (Part-Time, Fixed-Term):Job description:Job location: Bournemouth Starting income from £19,209 - £20,092 per annum (pro rata) with further progression opportunities to £21,686. This is an exciting opportunity to be part of a team of Receptionists covering 3 Reception points at the Talbot and Lansdowne Campuses. The team deliver a professional and friendly customer service practice to students, staff and visitors to the site. Specifically, the team are responsible for providing wayfinding directions to all customers, receiving visitors, undertaking switchboard tasks, assisting with access control enquiries, reporting any security issues and any other Reception/Front of House enquiries. Onsite familiarisation and training will be provided by the Reception Team Leader and the Reception Team. The function will be rotated, normally on a weekly basis between the Talbot and Lansdowne Campuses. This is a part time function for 22.2 hour per week covering Wednesdays, Thursdays and Fridays and working time will be either 08:00 to 16:30 or 08:30 to 17:00 depending on which Reception point the postholder is allocated to for the week. A BU uniform will be provided to you as part of this function. This position does not meet the eligibility requirements for sponsorship under the Skilled Worker Route within the UK Visa and Immigration service's Points located System. Therefore, BU will not be able to sponsor individuals who require permission to work to carry out this position. This position is offered on a fixed-term basis until 14 June 2023, to cover the maternity leave of an established member of staff. Consideration may also be given to the position being offered as a secondment opportunity but this would need to be discussed with their line managers prior to application.
