The Post - Lecturer in Public Health
The School of Health and Life Sciences is one of the largest integrated schools combining health and life science programmes. Our graduates make an immense contribution to improving the health and wellbeing of communities across the globe.
Our postgraduate programme in Public Health has recently been added to our portfolio and We are seeking to develop this programme. The prosperous applicant will join an inter-disciplinary team delivering the programme at our state-of-the-art facilities at Lanarkshire campus. You will join a dedicated team who strive to continuously inspire our students and wider University community - and, through modern teaching and impactful research, continue to deliver innovative solutions to some of the world's biggest challenges.
The prosperous candidate should have the following:
   » Degree and significant postgraduate/Ph.D. qualification in a public health or related area (or be near completion)
   » An practiced professional in the field of public health ideally with practice of research in higher education.
   » practice of learning, teaching and assessment within Higher Education. A postgraduate qualification in education/teaching and learning, and/or HEA fellowship are desirable.
   » Commitment to delivering high quality teaching and supporting an outstanding student practice.
