Job Offer: Contracts Lawyer:Job description:Job location: Pontypridd As the University of South Wales embarks on a new strategic vision, we seek an ambitious Contracts Lawyer to deliver a step change in innovation contracting support. The main purpose of the function is to support academic staff, staff within Research Business and Engagement and the University' Secretary's office with specialist contract support. The function holder will draft, edit and negotiate a variety of contract types including research contracts, grants, collaborative agreements and commercial contracts. The function will support USW's Research Wales Innovation Plan and Research Strategy funded by HEFCW, and therefore contribute to USW's 2030 Strategy through increasing earnings from Research and expertise Exchange. This is a full time permanent post, primarily located at USW's Pontypridd campus. Benefits include 35 days annual leave, generous pension and flexible working. If you are a prosperous candidate and this position will be your first professional services function at the University (or you are currently employed by PSS Ltd), you will be employed by Professional and Support Services Limited, a wholly owned subsidiary of the University of South Wales, which provides services to the University and Colleges.
