The post-holder will join a team responsible for the teaching and assessment of basic and applied biomedical sciences in an undergraduate medical course. The post holder, in collaboration with the Phase 1 Lead, will have a day-to-day responsibility for operational delivery at the Crewe campus of the Phase 1 curriculum, including the coordination of the academic team.
The ideal candidates will be trained to doctoral level in any discipline cognate to medicine (for example immunology, anatomy, physiology, cell biology, biochemistry or genetics). candidates will have practice in teaching medical students (or health care professionals), and practice of leadership abilities in higher education. candidates will have excellent communication and team-working expertise, and be focussed on the needs of students.
