adjunct Accountant RIO Post Award:Job description:Job location: Chester The Finance Office wish to recruit an adjunct Accountant to work in an established team. The prosperous applicant will be the first point of contact in Finance for externally funded projects running at University of Chester sites. this function includes maintaining project expenditure evidence records, including using confidential pay data, and preparing project financial reporting to ensure compliance for externally funded grants and contracts from a variety of funders e.g. UKRI. At the current time the postholder will work both in the office, located at Exton Park Campus, and remotely (subject to review at the appropriate time). This post requires that you: » are educated to Degree level (or have an equivalent level qualification), » have significant practice of working within an accounts office, using computerised financial systems, » have accuracy and attention to detail for compliance with regulations » have the capability to prioritise own and work as part of a team, to ensure co-ordination of effort and that work is done effectively AAT Membership, and practice of funded projects, including cost monitoring, forecasting and variance analysis would also be an advantage.
