Job Opportunity: Director of Research & Innovation Services:Job description:Job location: London, Potters Bar Job location: Camden (Kings Cross, London) / Hawkshead (nr Potters Bar, Herts) Applications are invited for this senior and strategically important post. You will report to and work with the Vice Principal for Research & Innovation (VPRI) to ensure delivery of RVC's strategic objectives in research. You will be responsible for operational management of the Research & Innovation Office, which manages RVC's external grant and knowledge exchange portfolios. You will supervise grant administration processes, lead data reporting to stakeholders (RE, HESA, UKRI, HEIF etc), coordinate institutional REF and KEF reporting, and manage RVC's intellectual property and industrial collaborations. Further, you will help the VPRI identify and develop initiatives and strategic research opportunities. If you have an excellent knowledge of HEI research administration and of the UK science funding environment, and can motivate a diverse team to work across disciplines, then this challenging function will be a compensateing one for you.
