About the function
Be part of the Staffordshire Centre of Learning and Pedagogic Practice, connecting learning and teaching to enhanced social mobility. As part of the University's continued commitment to an exceptional, innovative and forward-looking teaching, learning and student practice, we are further enhancing our skills in pedagogic research, practice and evaluation, developing a key function as the Pedagogic Projects Development Manager.
Working with academic and professional service stakeholders, this function will play a key part in designing and evaluating a range of initiatives implemented across the institution, to deliver next generation teaching and learning at Staffordshire University. this function will be central to the prosperous implementation of our academic strategy, meeting the needs of our diverse learning community, ensuring prosperous results for all learners.
The function holder will have considerable practice in the scholarship of learning and teaching as well as leading pedagogic evaluation research capacity-building initiatives with diverse HE populations (using a range of pedagogic evaluation research methods, delivering impact, ideally through creative application of theory of change mechanisms) as well as being expected to remain an active researcher.
You will have a keen interest in sector level debates in pedagogy and an capability to lead and participate in institutional responses to sector consultations.
practice of developing projects for external calls for funding which help support the university's priorities in learning and pedagogical practice with the support of stakeholders across the university is a key aspect of the function.
The prosperous candidate will have a strong track record of management and delivery of pedagogic evaluation research consultancy opportunities.
