As a member of the Heavy Vehicle team, you will maintain all vehicles, tools, equipment, instruments and teaching aids to ensure safe and efficient functioning of learning programmes, including appropriatedocumentation. This also involves the setting up of various motor-vehicles and workshops for demonstrations, practical sessions and for assessment purposes.
The prosperous candidate will work closely with the Commercial team to plan logistics and resources for commercial delivery. You will also work to source and maintain rolling stock of appropriate vehicles for use in the workshop, and have a availability to take on coordination responsibilities across the Motor Vehicle workshops and connected training for scheduling and resource planning.
The ideal candidate will be educated to a minimum of a Level 3 standard and possess a comprehensive range of Heavy Vehicle and Plant maintenance and repair practice. You will also possess good general workshop expertise, including the capability to maintain and repair vehicles and various machinery. With excellent interpersonal expertise and the capability to relate to a wide and diverse student population you will be passionate about motivating all learners.
