Keele will soon be launching a Digital Society Institute, a collaborative research hub with a focus on advancing the possibilities that new technologies present to improve societal results through the better use of data. We will be working with businesses, health services, cultural and community partners and the public sector. The institute will be located within the University Enterprise Zone on the Keele campus and specifically Innovation Centre Seven (IC7), one of a number of projects part funded by the European Regional Development Fund (ERDF) Programme 2014-2020. Opening in May 2022, IC7 will provide 2,696sqm of BREEAM excellent innovation space, featuring a Data Visualisation Suite, office space and hi-tech meeting and collaboration space. Through the University's commitment to the region in its Keele Deal Recovery, the institute and IC7 will initially support over 450 SMEs in an 18 month period. Linked to this exciting development, we are now looking to recruit a new team to work with academics to deliver the business support programme. located in the Directorate of Research, Innovation and Engagement, and working closely with colleagues in the Digital Society Institute, this Project Coordinator function will play a key function in coordinating all aspects of project delivery and ensuring adherence to grant funding conditions. The function will suit an practiced Project Coordinator looking for an opportunity to move into an exciting new project area and joining a university nationally renowned for its dynamic and forward-thinking approach to local growth and regeneration.
