Job Offer: Group Training Manager - Engineering:Job description:Job location: Corby We have a great opportunity located at across Bedford and Corby campuses for a Group Training Manager to become a key member of our Apprenticeships department. As a Group Training Manager, you will play a pivotal function in the success of our students through: » Leading the apprenticeship offer within assigned areas, ensuring high-quality learning is delivered and all departmental targets are prosperously achieved. » Ensuring a high-quality student practice which leads to outstanding timely and overall achievement, retention, progression and employcapability results for all apprentices. » Leading on the development of all new standards, identifying new areas of growth up to degree level pathways and ensure that new start targets are achieved in line with annual curriculum plans and college targets. » Ensuring that employers, apprentices and the delivery team form a solid tripartite relationship that leads to high customer satisfaction results being delivered. Our ideal candidates will have recent significant practice of managing staff/teams within the apprenticeship sector and recent significant practice of managing curriculum development and change within the apprenticeship sector, alongside the following qualifications: » Educated to Degree level or equivalent qualification or practice » Teaching qualification at Cert Ed/PGCE or equivalent » Recognised management qualification » Assessor/IQA Qualifications » Maths and English to » GCSE (Grade A - C) or equivalent level (level 2) Further details of the essential criteria for the post can be located within the Job Description .
