Job Opportunity: Associate Lecturer in Media:Job description:Job location: Corby, Kettering We have a great opportunity located at across our Corby and Kettering campus for an Associate Lecturer in Media to become a key member of our Performing Arts department. As an Associate Lecturer in Media, you will play a pivotal function in the success of our students through: » Preparing, delivering, assessing and verifying subject specialisms on a range of courses and levels. » Supporting and guiding students to achieve success and realise their potential. » Managing students' learning and provide a high quality learning practice. » Contributing pro-actively to developments in the Centre in curriculum development and innovative teaching. » Participating in marketing and promotion activities to support a range of programmes and learning opportunities. Our ideal candidates will have recent practice of teaching and assessing on a range programmes and levels and expertise of the current developments in own specialist area, alongside the following qualifications: » Level 3 significant qualification » availability to achieve Certificate in Education or equivalent » availability to achieve Assessor/Verifier qualifications » English and mathematics or similar at GCSE grade A-C or equivalent or availability to achieve English and mathematics Level 2 within one year About Us The Bedford College Group aims to deliver world-class expertise and education to the communities we serve.
