An exciting opportunity has arisen to join Xplore! Science Discovery Centre's Bookings Team.
Xplore! is seeking a Bookings Team Member, with responsibility for taking inbound and making outbound calls to schools and community groups and families across the region. The function will also involve maintaining a database of contacts and up-selling additional workshops and shows to complement existing bookings.
The capability to accurately record information for mailing and billing purposes is important. The function is also responsible for providing a comprehensive information service to customers to help them select the best option for their school and ensuring customer consciousness of current offers and project options. Bookings Team members can also engage with teaching staff at events, meetings and during teacher pre-visits to Xplore!
Typical working week is 16 hours over three days, Monday to Wednesday. The function is varied and can include visiting school settings in the region.
The prosperous applicant will have:
   » Excellent customer service, IT and communication expertise.
   » The capability to follow instructions and work independently.
   » Good knowledge of customer requirements and a motivation to meet targets.
   » A availability to lgain Welsh, or the capability to hold a simple conversation and pronounce and understand basic Welsh (essential for the function).
   » A full Driving Licence (desirable for the function).
