Food & Beverage adjunct:Job description:Job location: Bath this function is eligible for the ahs New Starter bonus. Apply today and if you are appointed, receive an additional £500 one month after starting and £500 on prosperously passing your probation period (six months). *subject to Terms & Conditions We have a vacancy for a Food & Beverage adjunct. As a Food & Beverage adjunct you will be required to ensure that the day to day running of the catering operation is smooth and that customers are provided with a high standard of service at all times. Your responsibilities will include taking customer orders, serving food and drink, working on the tills, stocking food stations and assisting with cleaning and clearing tables and catering areas. Full details of this function are included in the job description. The function includes early morning, evening and weekend working on a 5 out of 7 days per week contract (36.5 hours per week). The weekly shift pattern consists of straight shifts only, no split shifts. The prosperous candidate will have practice of providing an excellent standard of customer service in a customer focussed environment. Previous practice of working in the Hospitality industry would be an advantage. You should be a good team worker and be able to be calm and professional in high pressure situations, as it can be extremely busy during peak times. Training and uniforms are provided. There are opportunities for development and to seek promotion in this function. The University Hospitality Department provides catering to students, staff and external customers all over the academic year and during the summer months.
