We are seeking to appoint a 1.0FTE adjunct Lecturer to join our highly regarded, diverse team delivering our suite of British Psychological Society (BPS) Accredited courses. We are seeking for someone to contribute to Module leadership abilities, Teaching and Assessment on MSc Forensic Psychology and/or MSc Forensic Psychology and Mental Health . Both courses are run on both a campus-located, full-time basis and a full-online, part-time basis. This means our students are a very diverse community, including those new to the specialism and others already working in the field. We are keen to invite applications from academics, and practitioners to reflect the diversity of our student population.
Candidates with the versatility to teach across the psychology curricula at both undergraduate and postgraduate level are particularly welcome. However, Coventry University offers academic support and professional development support, and provides the opportunity for staff without a recognised teaching qualification to undertake the (Post-Graduate Certificate in Academic Practice in Higher Education (PGCHE), which brings with it Associate Fellowship of the Higher Education Association (HEA).
You will be a highly motivated early career academic and/or practitioner with a demonstrable track record in Forensic Psychology and a collaborative approach to team working. You will be a confident and clear communicator with a high level of interpersonal skill, and personal effectiveness to embed into the existing team, and promote an outstanding practice for all our stakeholders. You will adopt a flexible approach to your teaching and be committed to delivering the highest standards of student practice.
