Offer: Teaching Associate:Job description:Job location: Sheffield Summary: An opportunity has arisen for a Teaching Associate to join our highly multidisciplinary community of academics, researchers, and teachers to support Undergraduate Teaching in the School of Biosciences. Reporting to the Director of Teaching and with support from the school mentoring scheme, you will be responsible for coordinating and delivering practicals, delivering lectures, supervising level 1 and 2 tutorial groups, developing and supporting projects, and supervising level 3 literature reviews. candidates must have a PhD in a significant subject (or equivalent practice) along with demonstrable practice in teaching at undergraduate and/or postgraduate level. The capability to teach a range of ecological subjects is also essential. These could include, for example, population ecology, community ecology, plant ecology, sustaincapability, environmental science and/or conservation.
