Job Opportunity: Precision Engineer x2 (10363-0422):Job description:Job location: Coventry The School of Engineering is seeking to appoint two Precision Engineers to provide technical support for undergraduate and postgraduate students and provide technical support for research to academics and research personnel, ensuring a range of laboratory and teaching equipment is properly maintained. You will have prosperously completed an engineering apprenticeship to HNC / ONC Eng. qualification or have equivalent significant work practice. You will have significant practice in a tool making or engineering development environment and a high level of skill and expertise in a wide variety of disciplines including computer numerical control (CNC) milling and turning. Fitting, fabrication, design and 3d manufacturing techniques, various welding techniques and general workshop processes is essential, as is the capability to evidence excellent interpersonal expertise with significant practice of working independently and as part of a team.
