Job Offer: Lecturer in Sports Therapy:Job description:Job location: Chichester Fixed Term contract for up to one year covering a period of Maternity leave We are currently seeking a full time Lecturer to join the Sports Therapy team in the Institute of Sport to cover a period of maternity leave commencing in August. The post holder will plan, prepare and deliver quality teaching on a range of modules on the BSc (Hons) Sports Therapy, and assess and provide feedback on student assignments. In addition, you will act as academic advisor and assist with the supervision of student projects and clinical supervision in the University of Chichester Sports Injury Clinic. You will also contribute to the wider subject area of Sports Therapy and, where appropriate, support to other departments within the University. You will have a good significant undergraduate degree with further professional or academic qualifications at Masters level or equivalent. Ideally you will have Qualified Teacher Status or HE teaching qualification if not we will assist you to undertake the Postgraduate Certificate in Learning and Teaching in Higher Education. You will demonstrate expertise of current initiatives underpinning the subject area and broad expertise of Rehabilitation and Acute Care. You will also have exceptional organisational expertise and the capability to engage, enthuse and inspire students.
