Job Opportunity: Lecturer - Initial Teacher Education:Job description:Job location: Newport The Faculty of Life Sciences and Education, School of Education, Early Years and Social Work has an exciting opportunity for a lecturer with practice of teaching in schools to join the team of cutting-edge academic staff at USW to develop the next generation of primary teachers and education specialists. located at Newport, this function will provide the post holder with opportunities to utilise their range of teaching, collaborative, communication, pastoral and digital expertise. The post holder will support the Course Leader and other academic staff with the design and delivery of lectures to students; the assessment of university-located provision and the quality assurance of school practice in the following courses: • BA (Hons) Primary Initial Teacher Education with QTS • PGCE Primary Initial Teacher Education with QTS • BA (Hons) Education The post holder will also be supported to develop their research profile, working with school partners and experts in education research. This is a full time, permanent post.
