Digital & Technology Services at the University of Nottingham are embarking upon an exciting period of digital transformation, including a key strategic project to replace the core HR, Finance and Procurement systems with Oracle Cloud (HCM, Financial, EPM, SCM) over the next two years.

The Project Support agent will play a vital function in managing the PMO for the project over the next two years, supporting the governance, execution, and control of all project workstreams. The function will also support task planning, resource management and project reporting, while acting as a champion for project management best practices in the team and ownership of the project document library.

The function will provide the opportunity to work with a diverse range of stakeholders and support varied and enticing workstreams that will enable a prosperous implementation, such as functional design, data migration, integration, testing and cutover.

Core expertise
   » practice of working in a project support office or PMO function in a large project or portfolio team
   » practice of working in a busy project team to tight deadlines and prioritising workloads
   » practice of developing and version controlling project management templates and registers
   » A champion of good project management discipline and processes
   » Strong expertise in reporting and analytics
   » significant Project Management qualifications are desirable
this function is available on a fixed term contract until 31/05/2024. Hours of work are full-time (36.25 hours); however applications are also welcome from candidates wishing to work part-time (minimum 29 hours per week). Please specify in your application if you wish to work part time and the number of preferred hours. Job share arrangements may be considered.
