Accommodation agent:Job description:Job location: Carmarthen Carmarthen Campus (with travel to other campuses as necessary) £22,847-£26,341 per annum ABOUT US The University of Wales Trinity Saint David (UWTSD) is an employment-focused university, dedicated to ensuring students from diverse backgrounds develop the academic expertise and practical expertise to thrive. We are now looking for a Accommodation agent to join our Carmarthen campus on a par time permanent basis working 21 hours per week over 5 days out of 7. THE function You will work closely with other managers/managers to ensure that all residential customers (students and commercial) receive a high quality practice. You will actively support the wider Estates team in delivering other campus located services and support implementation of the marketing plan. You will support and administer the process of applications/bookings for all accommodation requests, the allocation of rooms/keys, dealing with withdrawals/cancellations, arrivals and departures. You will contact with customers; deal with all enquiries and any complaints in relation to accommodation. ABOUT YOU To be considered as an Accommodation agent, you will need: » - Educated to A level or equivalent » - Previous practice in providing high quality administrative support » - Previous practice of similar accommodation provision » - Previous and demonstrable practice in a customer service function » - Good interpersonal and communication expertise with the capability to communicate effectively at all levels » - practice of mediating disputes » - capability to demonstrate effective organisational expertise » - capability to apply attention to detail » - capability to meet tight deadlines when required » - A proficiency in the use of Microsoft packages It would also be beneficial if you are: » - Educated to HND, degree level or equivalent practice. » - First Aid certificate » - Previous practice of significant accommodation provision » - Previous practice of preparing documents for audit » - Previous practice of working in Higher Education » - capability to communicate through the medium of Welsh (oral and written).
