The post holder reports to the Director of Library Services and is a member of the Senior leadership abilities Team, helping to develop and monitor service direction, quality and impact. They provide strategic leadership abilities and direction to the Content Management and Open Scholarship team to ensure effective and efficient provision of physical and digital content and collections and library discovery systems to support learning, teaching and research. This includes oversight of the institutional research repository and Research Collections. They proactively provide skills and advice to the University in implementing the vision for Open Scholarship, and will have a good knowledge of national and international initiatives, mandates and policies. University of Worcester Library Services is an innovative and high-quality service achieving student satisfaction scores of above 90% and holding Customer Service Excellence accreditation.
