Job Offer: Project Manager:Job description:Job location: Gwynedd Applications are invited for the above fixed-term, full-time post. The primary objective of the function is to support the development of a major research grant on Forest Landscape Restoration in Africa and its contribution to development in a changing climate. The Project Manager will support the Principal Investigator in liaising with academic and non-academic partners to plan the project and submit the grant application. If the project does not get through the Expression of Interest stage, the Project Manager will switch to focus on supporting the Principal Investigator with the activities of the Low Carbon Energy and Environment Research Network Wales . Candidates should have a postgraduate qualification (subject area is flexible as business and administration expertise or environment-related expertise would be valuable in this function), and project management practice in the context of university collaborations. practice of working in or with universities in sub-Saharan Africa would be very valuable. The 4-month post will be located in the School of Natural Sciences at Bangor University and is available from 1st July 2022 until 31st October 2022. this function will be located on campus at Bangor. Through our Dynamic Working framework, there will also be the option to spend some time working remotely (although remaining in the UK) to support work life balance, which will be discussed further with candidates at interview.
